Korea Institute of Analytical Science(KIAST), which was independent from the research institute attached to Sungmoon Systech Co., Ltd. in 2018, is a specialized research institute that provides Korea's unique microplastic testing and analysis services and plays a pivotal role in the development of national/international standards.

We possesses the core competence of testing and analysis capabilities for hazardous substances related to Korean and international environmental regulations and the development of national (KS)/international (ISO & IEC) standards related to test method development, and analysis of foreign substances in the chemical/electrical/electronic/automotive industries and products. Along with the service, we are playing a role in the development of the national industry by developing test and analysis methods related to microplastics and foreign particle generated in additional consumer products (food, cosmetics/toothpaste, salt, mineral water, etc.) and providing relevant test and analysis services in a timely manner.
